Dutch design
Decover’s products are 100 per cent made in the Netherlands. So it’s Dutch design – not to be confused with the design movement from the 1990s. That’s Dutch Design with a capital D. We’re not quite that big. Hence our lower-case ‘d’. From decover. 😉
Still, our products do bear some resemblance to the design aesthetic of Dutch Design. We love minimalist designs; we started out experimentally and, for highly bespoke work, we still do – innovative as we are. And our sense of humour is spot on too. The question is whether you can see that reflected in our end product. Humour is very personal, but we’ve certainly had a lot of fun working on it – you can be sure of that!
To cut a long story short: above all, we want to make it clear that we design, create and make our products entirely ourselves. Handcrafted in our own studio. So you’re buying directly from the maker, with no middleman involved.
